Health & Safety is of great importance on all projects carried out by Fergal McGuigan Construction Ltd. Our Heath & Safety Management System clearly defines the procedures and responsibilities that we have in place to ensure a safe working place. Each site is the direct responsibility of the company director, who promotes quality management and workmanship, which is achieved through close liaising with site engineer, foreman, sub contractors and general operatives.
Weekly tool box talks are carried our with all employees, and fortnightly with FAS registered Safety Officers. The level of commitment to on-site and workshop safety is directly reflected by the company’s accident free history.
Fergal McGuigan Construction Ltd bricklaying contractors, directors and employees each hold the “Safe Pass Card” and have completed courses and been awarded certificates in “Occupational First Aid”, “Plant Operative Safety Awareness” and “Scaffolding Course”.
